All the other Painted Lady butterflies turned out wonderfully and we released them after a few days in the park. It was a very nice experience for the whole family! Gladly again! We were very excited about the idea of being able to watch butterflies develop. The order and shipping went smoothly. The instructions were easy to understand. The caterpillars grew quickly and also all pupated. Unfortunately, the first butterfly that hatched was so malformed that it died after a short time. Of the six other butterflies, two had underdeveloped wings that left them unable to fly. So we could only let a little over half of the pretty butterflies fly.
